  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 piece egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas with the back of a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter until well combined. Then add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly.
  4. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt into the mixture, then sift in the flour. Gently fold the flour into the mix until just combined.
  5. Toss in the mini chocolate chips and fold gently, ensuring they're evenly dispersed.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased mini loaf pan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the bread cool for a few minutes in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy your delightful creation!

Notes

For an elevated experience, top with nut butter, yogurt, or honey. If making in advance, consider freezing tightly wrapped mini loaves. Avoid overmixing to prevent dense texture.
