Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Pat the beef ribs dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, ground cumin, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
- Rub the spice mixture generously over the ribs, ensuring all sides are coated.
- Place the seasoned ribs in a foil-lined baking dish in a single layer.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
Cooking
- Bake the covered dish in the preheated oven for 3 hours.
- If desired, remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of cooking and brush the ribs with barbecue sauce.
- Once done, remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for about 10 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, slice, and serve with your favorite sides.
Notes
For substitutions, experiment with different spices and herbs. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months. Reheat at 300°F covered with foil for best results.
