Method
Preparation
- Begin by cutting your chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. Set them aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and fresh ginger until well combined. Set the sauce aside.
Cooking
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a little bit of oil if necessary to prevent sticking.
- Once hot, add the chicken pieces. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the honey sauce over the chicken. Let it cook for another 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens and the chicken is well coated.
Serving
- Once your chicken is perfectly glazed, sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving. Enjoy it warm!
Notes
When substituting ingredients, keep in mind that using olive oil instead of sesame oil will alter the flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. To reheat, use a skillet or microwave in short intervals.
