  • 1 tablespoon red chili flakes Adjust to taste.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced For a milder taste, use less garlic.
  • 1 piece zest of lemon Adds freshness and brightness.
  • to taste salt and pepper Use cautiously as feta is often salty.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Crumble the feta cheese, chop the herbs, and mince the garlic.
  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the crumbled feta, olive oil, fresh oregano, thyme, garlic, chili flakes, and lemon zest.
  3. Use a fork or a whisk to blend the ingredients together until you achieve a gritty texture.
  4. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a serving dish and drizzle with a bit more olive oil.
  6. Serve with your favorite crusty bread.

Notes

Leftover Mediterranean Feta Dipping Oil can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. To enhance flavors, allow the oil to chill for an hour before serving. For a smoother dip, blend the ingredients in a food processor.
