- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, parsley, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add the beaten egg and mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into evenly sized portions, and shape them into patties—about 3 inches in diameter.
Cooking
- In a skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat. You want the pan hot but not smoking.
- Place the patties in the skillet, ensuring you don’t overcrowd them. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
Serving
- Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve them warm with your favorite dipping sauce or in a fresh pita!
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can freeze cooked patties for up to 3 months. To reheat, place thawed patties in a skillet over medium heat or in the oven at 350°F for about 10-15 minutes.
