Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the block of feta cheese in the center of a baking dish or cast-iron skillet.
- Surround the feta with halved cherry tomatoes and sliced olives.
- Drizzle olive oil generously over the feta.
- Sprinkle dried oregano, thyme, and minced garlic over the feta and vegetables.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, until the feta is golden and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
- Serve immediately with crusty bread or pita.
Notes
For a different texture, you can substitute feta cheese with Halloumi. Keep an eye on the feta during the last few minutes of baking to prevent overcooking.
