  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 piece jalapeño, seeded and minced Adjust for spice preference.
  • 1 piece red bell pepper, chopped
  • 0.5 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 piece lime, juiced

  1. Start by peeling the mangoes and dicing them into small cubes.
  2. Finely chop the red onion, jalapeño, and red bell pepper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine diced mangoes, red onion, jalapeño, red bell pepper, and fresh cilantro.
  4. Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and sprinkle salt to taste. Toss gently to combine.
  5. Taste and adjust the salt or lime juice according to your preference.
  6. For best flavor, chill the salsa in the fridge for at least 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Choose ripe mangoes for the best flavor. For a creamier texture, consider adding diced avocado. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
