  • 1 piece red onion, thinly sliced Soak in cold water for milder flavor if desired.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash all produce thoroughly.
  2. Peel and dice the mangoes, removing the pit.
  3. Cut the red bell pepper and cucumber into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Thinly slice the red onion. Soak in cold water for about 10 minutes for a milder flavor if desired.
  5. Chop the cilantro.
Mixing
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine diced mango, bell pepper, cucumber, sliced red onion, and chopped cilantro.
  2. Squeeze the juice of two limes over the mixture.
  3. Add salt to taste.
  4. Gently toss all ingredients until evenly coated.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately or chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a creamy touch, add diced avocado. Use ripe mangoes for best taste, and avoid reheating as it’s best served fresh.
