  • 1 lb ground beef (or your preferred meat) Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 1 cup milk Use whole milk for a creamier texture.
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup ketchup or barbecue sauce For added flavor.
Pasta Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked macaroni Any pasta shape works.
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or a cheese blend) Mix different cheeses for variation.
Seasonings and Toppings
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs For topping, can use seasoned or plain.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and egg, then add it to the meat mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Fold in the cooked macaroni and shredded cheese until well mixed.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spread evenly, and top with ketchup or barbecue sauce.
  7. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the meat is cooked through and the top is golden brown.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
