  • 1 cup cooked turkey, shredded or diced Use any leftover turkey or chicken.
  • 1/2 cup diced onion Onion adds sweetness and depth; use yellow or white.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil or parsley (optional) Fresh herbs can also be used.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch pie dish or quiche pan with non-stick cooking spray or a light coat of olive oil.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until combined.
  4. Stir in the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dried herbs if using.
  5. Add the shredded cheese, cooked turkey, and diced onion, mixing everything well.
  6. Carefully pour the mixture into the prepared pie dish, spreading it out evenly.
Baking
  1. Place the quiche in the oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. Once baked, let the quiche cool for about 5 minutes before slicing.

For ingredient substitutions, use leftover proteins or add vegetables like zucchini or bell peppers. Store in an airtight container; refrigerate leftovers for 3-4 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat at 350°F for 20 minutes for best texture.
