Heat the Olive Oil: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and let it heat up.
Sauté the Veggies: Add the chopped onions and bell peppers. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
Mushrooms and Garlic: Add the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the mushrooms are tender.
Brown the Meat: Stir in the ground beef or turkey, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and no longer pink.
Season It Up: Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning, and add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and allow to cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Serve & Enjoy: Spoon the mixture into bowls, top with extra cheese if desired, and dig in while it’s hot!
