  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds or chopped walnuts Optional for extra crunch

Preparation
  1. Wash and cut the fresh broccoli into bite-sized florets and place in a large salad bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper to create the dressing.
  3. Add shredded cheddar cheese, chopped red onion, and crumbled bacon to the broccoli in the salad bowl.
  4. Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and gently toss until well-coated.
  5. If desired, sprinkle on the sunflower seeds or chopped walnuts for a nutty crunch.
  6. Adjust seasoning if necessary, then serve immediately or refrigerate to let flavors meld.
