Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this spice mix all over the chicken breasts.
- Wrap a slice of beef bacon around each chicken breast, overlapping slightly for even cooking. Place the seam side down on a baking sheet.
- Lightly drizzle the wrapped chicken breasts with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is crispy.
- Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
You can substitute turkey bacon for a lighter version, just ensure it meets your dietary needs. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven for best results.
