Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder. Stir until well mixed.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, then add the melted butter or oil. Mix until combined, then pour into the dry ingredients.
- Stir the mixture until a dough forms. If it’s too crumbly, you can add a bit more melted butter.
- Divide the dough into four equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball, then poke a hole in the middle with your finger, carefully shaping it into a bagel form.
- Place the formed bagels on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with a light layer of butter or oil and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds if desired.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing. Enjoy them warm, toasted, or with your favorite toppings!
Notes
Store leftover bagels in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for longer storage. Best when freshly made.
