Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by preheating your skillet over medium-high heat. Meanwhile, pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin.
Seasoning and Coating
  1. In a shallow dish, combine flour, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
Cooking Chicken
  1. Add olive oil to the preheated skillet. Once hot, carefully place the floured chicken breasts in the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove the chicken and set aside.
Making the Cream Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and smooth.
Combining
  1. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over the top. Allow it to cook together for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Serving
  1. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For best results, ensure chicken breasts are of even thickness, and allow the cream to simmer gently for a smooth sauce. Fresh ingredients yield the best flavor.
