Preparation
- If using fresh lobster, cook it in boiling water for about 8 minutes, or until the meat turns opaque.
- If using pre-cooked lobster, ensure it is thawed and chopped if frozen.
Mix the Filling
- In a medium bowl, combine the chopped lobster, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and chives.
- Mix gently to avoid tearing the lobster meat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Prepare the Buns
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Toast the hot dog buns on both sides until golden brown (about 1-2 minutes each side).
Assemble the Rolls
- Spoon the lobster mixture generously into each toasted bun.
