Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef (Halal-certified)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Method

Cooking the Pasta
  1. In a large pot, boil water and cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sautéing the Beef
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the ground beef. Cook until browned and completely cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Adding Garlic
  1. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, stirring until fragrant.
Creating the Sauce
  1. Reduce the heat to low. Pour in the heavy cream and mix well. Gradually stir in the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until melted and creamy.
Seasoning
  1. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine.
Combining Pasta
  1. Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet, mixing well to ensure every piece of pasta is coated in the cheesy sauce.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh parsley (if using) and serve hot. Enjoy your delicious meal!

Notes

Substitutions: Swap ground beef with turkey or chicken for a lighter option. Use cauliflower or gluten-free pasta for a healthier twist. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to two months.
