Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta (your choice: penne or fusilli)
  • 1 pound ground beef (or your preferred protein)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large pot, boil salted water and add the pasta. Cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add the ground beef and cook over medium-high heat until browned. Make sure to break it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
Cooking
  1. Reduce heat to medium-low, and add the diced tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, and heavy cream to the pot. Stir well to combine.
  2. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce mixture, stirring gently to coat the pasta in the sauce.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and evenly distributed throughout the dish.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
  5. Plate up your Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta and top it with any optional toppings you desire.
