Ingredients
  

For the dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour Ensure it's properly measured.
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk, warmed Ensure the milk is not too hot.
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 piece zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries Gently fold into the dough.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Activation and Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine the warmed milk, sugar, and yeast. Allow it to sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Pour in the activated yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs. Add the lemon zest and lemon juice, and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
Kneading and Rising
  1. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  2. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Incorporating Raspberries and Shaping
  1. Gently flatten the dough on a clean surface and fold in the fresh raspberries.
  2. Divide the dough into equal portions, shape each portion into a bun, and place them in a greased baking dish.
