Optional Toppings

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gently unroll your can of crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  4. Place about 1 tablespoon of the lemon cheesecake filling at the wide end of each triangle. Carefully roll it up, starting from the wide end and tucking in the sides as you go.
  5. Place the rolled crescent rolls onto a greased baking sheet, making sure to leave space between each one.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Finishing Touches
  1. Once baked, allow them to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar or adding a lemon glaze if using.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for the smoothest filling. Don't overfill the rolls to avoid mess. Experiment with other citrus flavors too!
