Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for baking.
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with non-stick spray or a bit of olive oil to prevent sticking.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Whisk until blended.
  4. Place the cod fillets in the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
  5. Drizzle the lemon butter mixture generously over the cod fillets.
Baking
  1. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until the fish easily flakes with a fork.
  2. Once cooked, sprinkle the fresh parsley over the top for a beautiful finishing touch.

Notes
