Preparation

- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until lightly golden.
Filling
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, lemon juice, lavender, and baking powder until fully blended.
- Pour the lemon-lavender mixture over the warm crust and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 25 minutes or until the filling is set.
Cooling and Serving
- Let the bars cool completely in the pan before slicing. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
For optimal flavor, use culinary-grade lavender buds. Optionally, add lemon zest for an extra citrus kick. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
