- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef. Sauté until it’s completely browned, breaking it up into small pieces. Drain any excess fat if desired.
- Once the beef is cooked, add the minced garlic and ginger. Stir and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Mix thoroughly and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Just before serving, mix in the chopped green onions, saving a few for garnish.
- Serve over a bed of warm rice or spooned into crispy lettuce leaves for a delightful wrap.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the skillet or microwave with a splash of soy sauce.
