Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup Korean BBQ sauce for marinating
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce for filling
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots for filling
  • 1/2 cup sliced cucumber for filling
  • 4 large tortillas or wraps for wrapping
  • to taste sesame seeds for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by coating the boneless, skinless chicken thighs with Korean BBQ sauce. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium heat. Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  3. While the chicken cooks, shred your lettuce and carrots, and slice the cucumber into thin pieces.
  4. Once the chicken has cooled a little, slice it into strips.
  5. Lay a tortilla flat, and layer the lettuce, shredded carrots, sliced cucumbers, and the grilled chicken on top.
  6. Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top and roll the wrap tightly. Place seam-side down.

Notes

For a different protein, consider using boneless, skinless chicken breasts or tofu for a vegetarian option. Store wraps in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat on a skillet to maintain texture.
