- Shred the cabbage, slice the onion, and mince the garlic.
Cooking
- In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Drain any excess grease if necessary.
- Once the beef is cooked, add the sliced onions and minced garlic. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the onions are translucent and fragrant.
- Add the shredded cabbage to the skillet. Stir everything together, cooking for about 5 minutes. The cabbage should begin to soften but still retain some crunch.
- Pour the soy sauce and sesame oil over the stir-fry. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat on the stove over medium heat to maintain texture.
