Ingredients

For the Marinade
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Main Ingredient
  • 1 boneless turkey breast (about 3-4 pounds) Ensure it is fully thawed if previously frozen.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, dried thyme, dried rosemary, dried oregano, lemon zest, lemon juice, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Place the turkey breast in the bowl, ensuring it is well-coated in the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for maximum flavor.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) while the turkey is marinating.
  2. Remove the turkey from the marinade and place it in a roasting pan. Pour any remaining marinade over the top. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 to 1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste occasionally with juices to keep it moist.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring each slice is juicy!
  2. Serve the turkey slices with your choice of side dishes and enjoy!

Notes

If you lack any specific herbs, consider substituting with your favorites or whatever you have on hand; fresh herbs can work wonders too! Always use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. Don’t skip the marinade! It’s essential for flavor.
