Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Rinse the boneless chicken thighs under cold water and pat them dry using paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper together. Rub this mixture evenly over the chicken thighs.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Push the garlic to the sides of the skillet and place the seasoned chicken thighs in the center. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Once the chicken is almost done, add the unsalted butter to the pan, letting it melt and baste the chicken.
  4. Remove the chicken from the pan, drizzle with the melted Cajun butter, and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve hot.

Notes

For substitutions, you can use Halal-friendly margarine or coconut oil. Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure perfect searing.
