Preparation
- Rinse the boneless chicken thighs under cold water and pat them dry using paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix the Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper together. Rub this mixture evenly over the chicken thighs.
Cooking
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Push the garlic to the sides of the skillet and place the seasoned chicken thighs in the center. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Once the chicken is almost done, add the unsalted butter to the pan, letting it melt and baste the chicken.
- Remove the chicken from the pan, drizzle with the melted Cajun butter, and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve hot.
Notes
For substitutions, you can use Halal-friendly margarine or coconut oil. Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure perfect searing.
