Ingredients

For the Marinade
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes Opt for well-marbled cuts for juiciness.
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Skewers
  • Bell peppers, cut into chunks (optional)
  • Red onion, cut into chunks (optional)
  • Skewers (wooden or metal) Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the beef cubes and toss to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
  2. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes.
  3. Thread the marinated beef onto the skewers, alternating with chunks of bell pepper and red onion if desired.
Grilling
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef reaches your desired level of doneness.
Serving
  1. Remove the kebabs from the grill, let them rest for a few minutes, then serve with your favorite sides or sauces.

Notes
