Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 package Jello (any color) Choose your favorite flavor
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup Gummy worms Ensure they are gelatin-free for Halal

Method

Preparation
  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Ensure you have all your ingredients ready and a clean workspace for easy assembly.
  2. Boil Water: Begin by boiling 2 cups of water.
  3. Mix the Jello: Once boiled, remove the water from heat and add the Jello powder. Stir well until fully dissolved.
  4. Add Cold Water: Mix in 1 cup of cold water to the dissolved Jello mixture.
  5. Set Up Jello Mold: Grab a flexible mold (like a silicone worm mold) or use plastic straws if you don’t have one.
  6. Pour Mixture: Carefully pour the Jello mixture into the mold, filling each cavity about halfway.
  7. Insert Gummy Worms: Place the gummy worms into the mold, ensuring they’re submerged in the Jello but still showing bits of them at the top.
  8. Chill: Transfer to the refrigerator and let them set for at least 4 hours (or overnight for best results).
  9. Unmold and Serve: Once set, gently peel the Jello out of the molds and serve in a fun candy cup or on a platter.

Notes

Feel free to mix and match different flavors of Jello for a rainbow effect. Allow sufficient chilling time to prevent a soupy mess. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Avoid freezing.
