Ingredients
  

For the Tea
  • 4 cups water Use filtered or spring water for the best flavor.
  • 4 bags jasmine tea Or equivalent loose tea.
  • 2 tablespoons dried rose petals Ensure they are food-grade.
For Serving
  • ice cubes For serving.
  • sweetener Optional, to taste.
  • lemon slices Optional, for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat, and add the jasmine tea bags and dried rose petals. Allow them to steep for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. After steeping, remove the tea bags and strain the mixture to eliminate rose petals.
  4. Let the tea cool to room temperature, or speed up the process by placing it in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  5. Once cooled, fill glasses with ice, pour the jasmine rose tea over the ice, and add sweetener or lemon slices if desired.
  6. Sip and savor the delightful floral flavors of your homemade Jasmine Rose Iced Tea!

Notes

If you have leftovers, store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days in an airtight container. Best served chilled. Avoid reheating; simply refresh with some ice before serving.
