- Cut each croissant in half horizontally, leaving one side attached, creating a pocket for the fillings.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat to coat the pan.
Filling and Cooking
- Generously fill the inside of each croissant pocket with custard and jam.
- Carefully place each filled croissant into the hot butter, frying on each side for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the fried doughnuts and place them on paper towels to absorb any excess butter.
- Dust the doughnuts with powdered sugar once slightly cooled.
