  • 10 pieces fresh jalapeños Slice in half and remove seeds for a milder flavor.
  • 1 cup sour cream Can mix with lime juice or seasoning for extra flavor.
  • 2 cups spicy chips Preferably Takis or similar brands.
  • to taste none fresh cilantro Optional garnish.

Preparation
  1. Rinse the jalapeños under cold water, then slice them in half lengthwise and remove the seeds for a milder flavor.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the sour cream with lime juice or your favorite seasoning until combined.
Assembling the Dish
  1. Arrange the jalapeño halves on a serving plate and spoon a generous amount of seasoned sour cream into each half.
  2. Finely crush the spicy chips and sprinkle them over the jalapeños.
  3. If desired, garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

Notes

Best prepared just before serving to maintain chip crunchiness. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
