Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease a muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray or brush it with oil.
- Take the wonton wrappers and gently press them into the muffin cups, draping them over the sides to create little cups.
- In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, diced jalapeños, crumbled Halal chicken bacon (if using), green onions, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Spoon the cheesy filling into the wonton cups, filling them generously but not overflowing.
Baking
- Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the wonton wrappers are golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before removing from the muffin tin.
Serving
- Enjoy your Jalapeño Popper Wonton Cups hot for the best experience!
Notes
To store leftovers, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For prolonged storage, freeze them before baking and bake from frozen at 350°F (175°C) for an extra 5-10 minutes.
