Method

Preparation

  2. Grease a muffin tin to prevent sticking and gently press each wonton wrapper into the muffin cups to form little cups.
  3. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, crumbled turkey bacon, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Spoon the cheesy mixture evenly into each wonton wrapper, filling them generously but not overflowing.
Baking
  1. Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the wonton cups turn golden brown and crispy.
Serving
  1. Once baked, remove from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes. Top with freshly chopped green onions for a splash of color and extra flavor.
  2. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious creation!

Notes

For substitutions, you can swap jalapeños for finely chopped bell peppers or spinach for a milder flavor. Keep an eye on the wonton cups while they bake, and avoid overfilling to prevent leaking during cooking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 to 4 days.
