  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese For spreading on the bread.
  • 2 jalapeños, sliced Remove seeds for a milder flavor.
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded Feel free to substitute with Pepper Jack for extra kick.
  • Butter For grilling the sandwich.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by slicing your jalapeños, removing the seeds if you prefer a milder flavor.
  2. Spread cream cheese generously on one slice of bread. Layer the sliced jalapeños on top, followed by a generous handful of shredded Cheddar cheese. Top with the second slice of bread to create your sandwich.
Grilling
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of butter. Once melted, place your sandwich in the skillet.
  2. Cook until the bottom side is golden brown and the cheese begins to melt, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Carefully flip the sandwich and add more butter to the skillet. Grill the other side until golden brown and the cheese is fully melted, about another 3-4 minutes.
Serving
  1. Remove from the skillet, slice, and enjoy your delectable Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese hot!

Notes

Experiment with different types of bread and cheeses. Adjust heat settings to prevent burning and avoid overstuffing the sandwich.
