  • 1 cup crushed crackers (for coating)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Make sure your cream cheese is softened before mixing.
  2. Dice the jalapenos, removing the seeds if you prefer a milder flavor.
Mixing
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapenos, crumbled chicken, chopped green onions, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Use a spatula or your hands to mix everything until well combined.
Forming
  1. Take a portion of the mixture and form it into a ball with your hands.
  2. Ensure it's compact and holds its shape.
Coating
  1. Roll the cheese ball in crushed crackers, covering it entirely for a crunchy exterior.
Chilling
  1. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour.
  2. This helps the flavors meld and makes it easier to slice when serving.
Serving
