  • 1-2 tablespoons finely chopped jalapenos Adjust based on your heat preference.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine shredded cheddar cheese and almond flour until well mixed.
  3. Add chopped jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix until evenly distributed.
  4. Crack in the egg and stir until a dough forms.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, flattening each slightly.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Allow the crisps to cool on the baking sheet before enjoying them warm or at room temperature.

Notes

These crisps pair well with guacamole or salsa. Adjust the jalapeno quantity to control the spiciness, and consider experimenting with different cheeses for a unique twist.
