Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) while you gather your ingredients.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and granulated sugar. Beat until creamy.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture while alternating with the milk. Make sure everything is mixed nicely!
- Line a cupcake pan with paper liners and fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with the batter.
Baking
- Place the cupcake pan in the oven and bake for about 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Check for doneness by sticking a toothpick in the center and ensuring it comes out clean. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely.
Decorating
- Once the cupcakes are cool, frost them with orange frosting to resemble pumpkins.
- Use the green frosting to create stems and add your candy decorations!
