Fruit Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered Choose ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries Opt for seasonal blueberries.
  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted and halved Use sweet cherries for maximum sweetness.
  • 1 medium watermelon, cut into bite-sized cubes Choose a ripe watermelon to enhance the salad.
Optional Add-Ins
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves, chopped Adds a refreshing hint.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup Drizzle lightly for sweetness.
  • Juice of 1 lime lime juice Enhances flavor and provides acidity.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash all the fruits thoroughly under running water.
  2. Hull and quarter the strawberries, pit and halve the cherries, and cut the watermelon into bite-sized cubes.
Mixing
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberries, blueberries, cherries, and watermelon cubes.
  2. If using mint, honey, or lime juice, add them now and gently toss the salad to mix.
Chill and Serve
  1. Let the salad chill in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes before serving.
  2. Serve it in a festive bowl and enjoy!

Notes

This fruit salad is best served fresh. If there are any leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
