  • 1 cup Fresh Mint Leaves, packed Use fresh mint for best flavor.
  • 1 cup Fresh Cilantro Leaves, packed
  • 1-2 pieces Green Chili Adjust based on spice preference.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • to taste Salt
  • as needed Water To aid blending.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather fresh mint and cilantro leaves, ensuring they are washed thoroughly.
  2. Combine the mint leaves, cilantro leaves, green chili, lemon juice, and salt in a blender or food processor.
  3. Add a little water to help with blending.
  4. Blend until smooth, adding more water if necessary for desired consistency.
  5. Taste and adjust with more salt and lemon juice if needed.
  6. Transfer the chutney to a serving bowl and serve.

Notes

For a milder flavor, remove seeds from the green chili. A bit of sugar can balance tartness if needed. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months.
