Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup hot honey
  • 4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season them generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder on both sides.
Searing
  1. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and sear for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Baking
  1. Once the chicken is seared, pour the hot honey evenly over the chicken. Make sure to coat each piece generously for that sweet heat.
  2. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the chicken and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  4. Remove the skillet from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot!

Notes

For consistent cooking, ensure your chicken breasts are of even thickness or pound them slightly. If you can't find hot honey, mix equal parts regular honey with a few dashes of your favorite hot sauce for a similar effect. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
