A delightful no-bake dessert that combines layers of chocolate pudding and cream cheese, topped with whipped cream and mini marshmallows.

Ingredients
  

Cream Cheese Layer
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Must be at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
Pudding Layers
  • 1 cup chocolate milk Use cold for best texture.
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup additional whipped cream or whipped topping For the final layer.
Garnish
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • to taste Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder For decoration.

Method
 

Preparation of Cream Cheese Layer
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently fold in 1 tub of whipped topping until well incorporated.
Mixing the Puddings
  1. In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and chocolate milk until it thickens.
  2. Repeat with vanilla pudding mix, using another cup of chocolate milk for a smooth consistency.
Constructing the Layers
  1. In a 9x13 inch dish, spread half of the cream cheese mixture evenly across the bottom.
  2. Add the chocolate pudding layer and top with the remaining cream cheese mixture.
  3. Add the vanilla pudding mixture on top, smoothing out evenly.
Finishing the Dessert
  1. Spread the remaining whipped topping over all the layers.
  2. Sprinkle mini marshmallows and chocolate shavings or cocoa powder over the top for garnish.
Chilling
  1. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, for the flavors to meld.

Notes

You can customize the dessert with your favorite toppings. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for one month.
