  • 2 pounds chicken thighs, boneless and skinless For best results, use fresh chicken.
  • 1/2 cup honey Use pure honey for the best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup sriracha sauce Adjust quantity to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Use low-sodium if preferred.
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season according to preference.
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish) Add for a fresh kick.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger to prepare the marinade.
  3. Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the honey sriracha marinade over the top, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
Cooking
  1. Put the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Flip the chicken halfway through baking.
Serving
  1. Once done, remove the chicken from the oven, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve alongside rice or steamed vegetables.

Notes

If you prefer less spiciness, reduce the amount of sriracha or add more honey. Store leftovers in an airtight container; refrigerate for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
