Preparation
- If not already done, peel and devein your shrimp. Rinse them under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce to create the glaze.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they begin to turn pink.
- Flip the shrimp and pour in the honey garlic sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp are cooked through and the sauce thickens slightly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
Feel free to toss in some veggies or serve over rice for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat on the stovetop.
