Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (skin-on) For extra flavor
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves large garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Optional Garnish
  • sesame seeds For a nutty crunch
  • chopped green onions For freshness

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them soak for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
Cooking
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated salmon fillets (reserve the marinade) and cook for 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown.
  2. Carefully flip the salmon and pour the reserved marinade into the skillet. Cook for another 4-5 minutes, basting the salmon with the sauce until it’s flaky and cooked through.
Serving
  1. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, if desired. Enjoy your delicious Honey Garlic Salmon with your choice of sides!
