Ingredients

For the Marinade
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Can substitute with coconut aminos for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
For the Lamb Chops
  • 4 pieces lamb chops (bone-in preferred)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, mix together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil to create the marinade.
  2. Season the lamb chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Place the lamb chops in a shallow dish and pour the honey-garlic marinade over them, ensuring each chop is well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the fridge for extra flavor.
  4. Preheat your grill or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Cooking
  1. Once heated, add the lamb chops and grill or sear them for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare or until they reach your desired doneness.
  2. During the last minute of cooking, brush the remaining marinade over the chops for an extra layer of flavor.
  3. Remove from heat, let them rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

Marinate for longer for enhanced flavor; avoid overcooking the lamb to prevent dryness. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
