Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by cutting the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season them with salt and pepper to taste.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil. If you want a thicker sauce, you can add cornstarch here to help it stick to the chicken.
Cooking the Chicken
  1. In a large skillet, heat a splash of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken pieces and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown and cooked through.
Adding the Sauce
  1. Once the chicken is cooked, pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken in the skillet.
  2. Stir well to coat all the pieces and let it simmer for another 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Garnishing and Serving
  1. Remove from the heat and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for added texture and flavor.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for the best flavor. Don’t overcook the chicken to maintain juiciness. Customize your sauce to taste!
