Preparation
- Combine the steak strips with light soy sauce, honey, chilli sauce, and minced garlic in a bowl. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef into the hot pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the beef is nicely browned and cooked through.
- Add the sliced bell pepper and onion, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until they are tender yet crunchy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir everything together so the sauce coats the beef and vegetables.
- Remove from heat and serve hot on a bed of rice or with noodles. Garnish with additional chili flakes if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm in the microwave or on a skillet over medium heat. Can be frozen for up to 3 months if cooled completely before freezing.
