Preparation
- Start by placing a skillet on medium heat. Add a little butter and let it melt, coating the bottom.
- On a clean surface, place one slice of bread down. Layer one slice of cheese, followed by banana slices, and a drizzle of honey.
- Place the second slice of cheese on top of the bananas, and finally, lay down the second slice of bread to create a sandwich.
Cooking
- Carefully place the sandwich in the preheated skillet. Grill for about 3-4 minutes until the underside is golden and crispy.
- Using a spatula, flip the sandwich to the other side and grill for another 3-4 minutes until golden and the cheese is melted.
Serving
- Once perfectly grilled, remove the sandwich from the pan, slice it in half, and serve immediately.
Notes
For variations, customize the cheese, bread, or add nuts for crunch. Pair with a fresh side salad or creamy tomato soup.
