  • 2 slices slices of bread (your choice: whole grain, white, or sourdough)
  • 1 piece ripe banana, sliced Use ripe bananas for the best sweetness and consistency.
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 slices cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) Choose your favorite melting cheese.
  • 1 tablespoon butter for grilling Add a bit more if needed for a crispier crust.

Preparation
  1. Start by placing a skillet on medium heat. Add a little butter and let it melt, coating the bottom.
  2. On a clean surface, place one slice of bread down. Layer one slice of cheese, followed by banana slices, and a drizzle of honey.
  3. Place the second slice of cheese on top of the bananas, and finally, lay down the second slice of bread to create a sandwich.
Cooking
  1. Carefully place the sandwich in the preheated skillet. Grill for about 3-4 minutes until the underside is golden and crispy.
  2. Using a spatula, flip the sandwich to the other side and grill for another 3-4 minutes until golden and the cheese is melted.
Serving
  1. Once perfectly grilled, remove the sandwich from the pan, slice it in half, and serve immediately.

Notes

For variations, customize the cheese, bread, or add nuts for crunch. Pair with a fresh side salad or creamy tomato soup.
