  • 1 large watermelon Choose a firm and ripe watermelon.
For the Topping
  • 1 cup whipped cream Use a spatula to spread evenly.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Select a firm and ripe watermelon. Cut off the ends to create a flat base.
  2. Stand the watermelon upright and carve it into a round cake shape, removing the skin.
Layering
  1. Spread whipped cream generously over the top and sides of the watermelon.
Decoration
  1. Arrange your favorite fresh fruits on top of the whipped cream layer.
  2. Add mint leaves for garnishing.
Serving
  1. Slice the watermelon cake as you would with any traditional cake and serve.

Notes

For firmer structure, refrigerate the watermelon before assembling. Serve soon after preparation to avoid sogginess. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
